About us

The Reliability & Risk Management Group is an IEE research unit committed to advance and disseminate knowledge in the field of power systems engineering and economics through high-quality scientific research, innovative approach to problem solving and pioneering concepts in technology developments.

The R&RM Group strongly relies on IEE values for successfully achieving the objective of excellence and recognition in the research enterprise.

In the early stages, the Group was highly involved in the development of probabilistic and simulation methods for reliability evaluation and reserve studies in power systems.

The Group has currently widened its research scope. It is now focused on the development and application of stochastic methods in describing the behavior of the market players, evolution of electricity markets and investments in power system infrastructure.
