According to Resolution 514/07, Dr. Fernando Olsina has been incorporated as Assistant Researcher to the Argentinean Research Council (CONICET), the primary sponsoring research and technology institution in Argentina.

SHTS software first release presented in UT, El Salvador
As part of a large-scale consulting project undertaken by IEE for the Salvadoran system operator (UT), Dr. Fernando Olsina presented at the UT headquarters a powerful computational tool for stochastic simulation of hydrothermal-dominated electricity markets, reliability evaluation of hydrothermal power systems and determination of capacity payments applying a novel probabilistic approach developed under the UT contract. IEE is granted with a consulting contract with UT, El Salvador
The Institute of Electrical Energy (IEE) has been contracted by the Salvadoran system operator (UT) for reviewing current proposals for capacity payments in the wholesale electricity markets of El Salvador and developing a more efficient, probabilistic-based mechanism for remunerating power generation capacity.

As part of the continuing commitment of the R&RM Group to excellence, an educational software has been developed for contributing to the high-quality IEE instructional material. The Institute of Electrical Energy (IEE) has been contracted by the Argentinean Nuclear Regulatory Agency for reviewing the documents, studies and procedures related to the emergency electric supply systems of the Atucha II Nuclear Plant necessary for its operation licensing.
